ONLINE REGISTRATION closes on June 19 at midnight. After that, you can only register for the Pooch Parade, Family Wave, and High Heel Dash at Discovery and 10th, and for Timed, rock star, Uniform, Bridal, Underwear waves at 10th and Alma starting at 2 pm race day (Saturday June 20, 2009).
With your $35 race fee you receive:
- Entry into the Chip’s Not Dead Yet Memorial Mile
- A lululemon Tech Top
- Entertainment and the concert
- Entry to the Russell Beer Garden (if over 19 years of age)
- Great memories with 4999 of your newest best friends
Package Pickup
Details for advance and day of package pick-up (lululemon shirt, bib, and timing chip if required) are listed on the Package-Pick-Up Page. Read carefully for details on your pick-up time and location.
Group/Corporate Team Registrations

Reduced rate of $25 per group member until May 24th, then $30 until June 19th
To enter Chip's Not Dead Memorial Mile as a group or corporate team you just need to register a team captain and select a password. The captain can then email other people to join the team (give them the team name and password and they can register on their own under the team umbrella). The team captain can also register and pay for up to 10 people at a time and still invite others to join. If you want to see who else has joined the team, click here. Of course, we encourage you to get as many people together as you can.
Group/Corporate benefits. Please note that group registration closes June 19th:
- A reduced race fee of $25 per team member (early bird group rate ends May 24), and $30 reduced rate till June 19th.
- Personalized team bibs with group or company name on your bibs (as long as your team is registered by June 9)
- Preferred race package pick up counter so you don’t have to battle the crowds
- Easy 1 person pick-up for entire group, and easy 1 person or company payment
- Group members can run in one wave together or run in different waves (excluding Timed Run wave category)
- Group/Corporate Team Captains collect race packages on behalf of the entire group. Package Pick-up dates are June 15, 16, 17 at lululemon on West 4th at Alma from 5 to 7pm.
- Due to limitations of the timing chip, group or corporate team members can NOT register for the TIMED WAVE.
The first 2 teams to register groups of 50 participants or more will win your very own 10 X 10 Party Tent usage. The tent will include:
- Snacks and beverages
- Bag and clothes storage
- VIP viewpoint of the finish line and Georgia Straight Entertainment Stage
- You can place your banner of your group or company name in the tent
The team that registers the most participants total will raise the coveted Raymond James Team Trophy and will be announced live during the race.
